We stop by fire family and they want the missionary lessen for her Aunt. What she can get before she goes back home so we set four to come and teach a lessen.
We head out to go check on the man with the bad toe to see how he is doing. When we got there he was trying to sleep. He been up all night because of the pain. We check the big toe snd the banded was bloody some old and some fresh bright red blood so I try to change the band. I hurt him to pull the tape an inch. It needed to be change but he was in so much pain to try to do that. We take him back to the Hospital. We found out they taken exrays and found black bones. Black bones mean the bone is infected. They change his bandages. WE fill two porscription one for pain killer and other was a stronger anabiatic. Tueday the big day they talk about and recheck the toe. They might be taken off the toe next to it starting to show black.

I felt the need to bring EZ Reader Book of Mormon with us before the mission. We now teaching a man who can not read. He brother lising too. He the one with the toe problem. He loves the EZ reader book of Mormon.
One Extended family (grandparent, two married sons and there children) in the group has a lot of children. I felt the need to give them the EZ Readers it was all three of them so they would have the bible and the book of Mormon. Brent ask me why all three and I said I did not know but they need them. We found out that the mother of two little boys could not read which I be trying to help her. This is the family spend Christmas eve with around the fire. The one son who wife can not read has company down for Christmas. Her mother few house away had a dream about her daughter reading to her. Her daughter got three book. One was the book of Mormon her daughter was reading to her out of this book. She know it was true. She awoke and her daughter was not there. She found out about the books I gave the family. She ready to be bap right now. Brent gave the first lessen and had hard time slow her down about learn. She want all the church and blessing now. Brent said yes in time it will come. You need all the lessen. He taught that lessen by one very small lamp light. Girl with her family and Aunt with her family were all in little house to hear the lessen. The Aunt and her family want the missionary but she live at the bottom of copper canyon which is bigger then the Grand Canyon. They can not read but KNOW the gospel true and want more. We love to go teach her. It just a train ride up the mountain from here. We can dream. Every morning there is a Train load of tourists going up the mountain every morning at 6:00.

Helping

Thur day got all the water line done out at the farm. Stop by the lady house to put in a stove she had for three year in it create. She had all the but one little piece of pipe to put it in. While stoping by to do that we Check with the old man and gave him a missionary lessen and EZ Reader of the book of MOrmon so we could help him start reading it so he can pray about thing. He just glows with happiness. He back at work and love it. While there putting in the stove, we went over to check on him and visited with his brother who got a hurt toe. It Look half go. Brent talk to Ed? about giving him a blessing. No one had oil. His toe bad enough we will take him to the hospital tomorrow after a blessing. It rain really hard here last night.

So when we went out to go give a blessing it was muddy everywhere. It dirt roads we drive on here. I park just off the road and we walk over. We wait for two for ed. He gave us some money to help pay for the visit to the hospitial. We pay for medine for the toe. It has taken all day. His toe been a problem for five year. A Doctor told him he could not do any more for him three year ago. Hopeful we on the way to a better toe morrow.

Chating Thanks

We love talking to the family last night. Thanks for talking grandkids I know it was hard but We enjoy hearing about your christmas. Sorry Damin for call you nic one it hard for me to think and write too.

Here some do the spainish christmas of the three wise men comeing. They visit everynight for a few night leavening things in the kids shoes if leave hay for them. There last visit is on the 6 of January. Poeple love taking advange of the after christmas sales.

Thanks for a chaty night

Christmas Evening

We spent the afternoon with the lady who has the key to the church. Her Daughter is home for christmas after working for five month in hotal. She save her money to buy her mom a sewing machine which they needed us to pickup for her. We stop by Ley a store like Walmartfor them. Her Daughter got 69 peco a day from work but they gave them room and two meala day. the sewing machine is 2000 peco. It is a tredal machine so it do not take electric. We had a late lunch with them of spagetti and sauce that we brought. They did not know how to cook it up.

We went over then to the family with out electric for the evening. I sat in the kithen wathing them cook on a barrel with wood in it. They did a big pot of brew that we had later that was very good like postum only thick. They made fresh tortas. Some soup. We found out part of there family was miss and Brent off to pick them up. He did not know they were over 10 mile away on dirt road. We change our tire next month there to many dirt road down here. When we got back they feed some spice hot stuff but they had some soup for me. They had a big bon fire for the night they stay up all night christmas evening. They had to two very big pinia. They had everyone hitting it in turns. Lots of fun. It only had a little candy in it. They past out bags after the pinia was brocken. Even them we had kid not waiting look for little piece of candy. I think they do that for a save thing and so one kid do not get most of the candy. They put on music to dance. /everyone dance girl with girl. mom with each of her kids. Everyone dance with everyone. I got worn out dance but I love it too. dancing round the fire with the star above. We gave up at 11:00 and had pineer pray before we left. They want to do it we show them last time we were there.

Christmas Evening

We got two family that invited us to spend christmas evening with them christmas look quite. Hugs and Loves Mom and Dad

Party Time

We were invite out to Arrocera another branch in the area. They play games Hot potateo, black Magic,and Rhythm with Peter,James, and John. They had some of the branch make there pinta. They were with baloons. One was a box with baloon and the other was snowman. Kid had fun braking them. They did not have very many kids. Dinner was a meatand vegetable soup, refried bean and noodle salad. We had cake and pop both are love down here.

We were pick up late as the busness is getting ready for there party tomorrow with the worker. They pick up thing to make meat and vegetable soup, refried bean and noodle salad. We got a few pipe glue together. The glue they use is what Brent useto though away. Brent decide the cabinet need biger bolts to go into the wall more. More thing to pick up.

We gave the worker lady apple the other day because we had extra but I was one short. Someone else say they were miss. We got some more apple to give them monday only we went with Hatch that day. Edurdo gave them out instead. Will they want apple again from me because I said I give them out. Brent said he bring oranges. So I waited on wednesday and pass out orange and peanuts. The worker love it.

We were late get out to the farm again because of picking thing up for the party. We run out of supply anyway. We brought our ice chest to hold ice for everyone drink. Pick up lots of soda pop. They had two big cake for everyone. We took the thing to the farm. We let some of the guy know about the party time and went to get soup. Tortella were pick up in a little shop that had a machine to make them. They were putting them out. We went out to the farm with everything. I help put tortella on the plate they serve up for the worker. They had a few gift for the worker they gave out in a lottery. Fun was had by all.

We got some shopping to do to day and material to pick up. It getting to close to christmas to get much done but we can do some.

Change of plans

President Hatich call this morning to ask if we were busy for lunch As they want to take us to lunch, We ere happy to change our plan. We did some cleaning. Hanging up some clothes we just wash.
We went to a Japanee resterant. Hitch order for us. I was so glad. The food was wonderful. We left full.
We went looking for dress for Annalee and Sofie. Found the pretty dress shop I saw ealier. Only The beautiful dress did not have sheeve in them they had jacket. They were also backless. I found a pretty dress on close out but it was white. What to you think Annlee. They did not have little dress but I get Sadie at another shop. We had family home evening to get to with another family. WE try again another time.

We took some orange and peanut out with us. We know how inportant they our now. We were late it was 4:30 but some of the family had go to Los Mosis for the treat. So we visited while we waited. They finial made it home but it was getting late. I went out to the car and got a fashlight.
Brent gave the lesson on Josaph Smith because that what picture he grab from the box. He started with can you gress who this is. He was a boy of fourteen. The Adult son had it first thing. They know alot about Josaph Smith but still wanted to read the information from the back by fashlight. It had the basic hilight of his life.
We play the new paper game and they were laugh in no time. We had oranges, peanuts and they pick up mashmello for a treat. It is so quite out there even with the road.
We said good bye.

Party

Friday on our way out to the farm we check with people about how thing were going for the party. They need to check with other who did not have phone so we took one family to talk with some other families. They need a ride to the store to get thing for the party. We plan to take them to the store around four o'clock.

Brent had time to eat lunch put the sink in and glue it. Check on the door.

We left for town picking the family up on are way. They had a list. We just found out how important cake is to party here at christmas. Most cake would take 200 paco more them they had. Everyone help with the party. I found some cake mixes and brown sugar for a cake. They were happy. I say I make the cake to spanish don't like thing tio sweet but they love cake. We pick up the pinana,candy, and other thing I though we need. It orange season here and peanut so I pick up a big, big bag of orange and bag of nuts. Later to find out it part of there christmas tradition to have peanut and oranges. Brent was surprize. It all help add to good christmas party. I made a pineapple upside down cake and made browies up. Both turn out just right I made them up saturday morning. We took big part of peanut we pick up and half the oranges. The bag of orange would hold four of the bag we get at home.

We went out to the cooking house about 1 o'clock after picking up our shoes we had put in to be fix. We need punch, powder sugar, sandwich bags which we got a walmart
The cake turn out looking so pretty. We got people pick up for the party. The family we are teaching came to the party for a little while. Everyone invite a few extra to the party we plan on extra so it turnout fun. We got some stick for the hot dog and show them how to cook them on the fire. The kid love cooking on the fire. We fill the pinana to full and had to empy it. They got to be able to move it around. The kid had fun hitting it. They torn it apart after the candy was out. It scare Brent I did not see it. I turn on the light with out turning on the light so we need a jump but did not have cable. They got us going and I learn a lesson about cars.

Comples Kithen

 

Grandpa drill in to the wall to set this cabinet and put the water and drainpipe thou the wall. He love the new drill that lets him do all those thing.

 
These cabinet need to be drill in the wall to and set so they would stay up. They also need to be put closely together to look nice. Brent had to saw a little to get them close together.

Shopping for the party

We took the first good parking spot I found luck one block from Central. We found pinata and they had costums there for children. Walking around I found little new born blsck tail suit for 170 paco. I have to get one before I go home. La dawn what size is Annlee they got formal dress that would look fun for sunday. They come in a rainbow of colors. Ann Lee what would you like and I need a dress size.

We went down the alley this time and found the candy store for fill the pinata. We got to much candy what know. I found some nut for the pinata. We got a rug for the front room. Look Great I know I get a picture. We got a little rug for sacoment talk to kneel on.

We went to produce market someone told us about. We got very big bag of oranges and peanut for the party. Next store was the hot dog store. Last we need a big pan for cook some of the food for the party. Cook Supply store was over by the park. We got the pan. Brent got his hair cut at the barbur ? shop. I got me hair cut at what they call a spa. I got a good cut. We went by the bakery so we got some rolls. head home.

The office christmas party is to night at eight so put thing away and got ready for the party.

Brent get to use the drill

We check on the last cabinet and the store is close. Edurdo had some else to check before we went out to the farm.

Brent had a hard time putting up a light fixture. He want to use the drill. He got only one light to work. He took most of the light apart and still could not get it to work.

He went to put in the cabinets. The drill made hole though the cement for thewater and drain pipe to go for the sink. Next drill hole in the cement for the cabinet. He got them put in looking good. The cabinets hing is uneven, door are place wrong, cabinet need some sanding (poor cabinet job someone did not
Brent) other wise it would of been Great.

Brent started working on the metal frame to the bathroom door. The cement broke around the door. Brent almost got the door to close but it needs longer bolts. next time were out. We still work late got home at 6:30 again.

We drop off some wood for the Party on Saturday.

Little hammer Drill

The tire store found another tire just like the ones on the car for 600 paco. I glad to be up and running again

Happy Tue Brent is so happy he is giggy. We going to get a hammer drill. Most of the house down here are made of cement and metal. We got cabinet to put in today. We went to get the hammer drill at home dep.

We meet a lot of people at the cabinet shop when we went to pick up the cabinets. one of the Cabinet side to the top was not put on so we left it. We pick up a few other thing so we were late getting out to the farm.
Brent double check he order enough pipe out there yesterday and it was time to go home. Running around take a lot of time even down here.

Sunday Surprize

Sunday we were in a hurry to go to church. We loaded a box of grapefruit to share we got from the tree in the back yard. We hearing a parada outside. We went out to find a school parada in front of our aptment building. The school a block away was haveing a big parent Day at the school. They delay us from going so we were late for church. The family we were looking to pick up had sick children and could not go, but his mother, brother with family and sister went to church.

The kids were so good doing to church class the toys really help. We past out the grapefruit after church. They empy the box. We took the brother and his family into Los Mochis after church.

We hurry out to meet with the family with the book of mormon. We took out hot Dog for everyone to eat. We had some pickles. We found a few did not like them. The father and son were working on a house so we did not stay long. The daughter wanted a book of mormon of her own because her father would not let her read his book of mormon. We gave her a book of mormon. He on page 26 of the book of Mormon so he still reading.

Monday we went over to the office and Brent was going to pick up something with the guy so he sent me home. I did not have the house key it was inside because we were going to the farm with brent and would not need it I thought. I have the side gate key on the car keys which I used because we forget to lock the back door most of the time. We did not lock it this time thanks goodness. Brent did not even notice. He decide to go with the guy out to the farm. I head out to the farm with out Brent. I thought I was ahead of them. I saw some buzzer next to the road it was neet just tosee them I hit some thing. I stop to see what it was the tire was flat. I got the spare tirer out one of the tractor driver along the road stop to help me with the tire. Brent never came by. He was at the complex. I hit a rock broke the side of the tire. We have to find a new tire. Brent mumble most of the day. We took a pie to the lady that cooking all the time for working man. She insisted on feeding us while we were there. We also left her some turkey meat. She was working til late so we say good bye and left.

We were ask to stop by an ask one of the member to give a talk for next sunday. While we were there visiting the family. The son Carlos ask if we could give his father a blessing. Brent was so happy to the Son anouted with brent help. He learning. Brent bless the father. He not a member but most of his family is a memeber. Brent just said if you have any question let us know. We head home for the night.

The tire store was still open when we got home. They thought they had a tire for the car but it was to big and they were about to close so we park the car at home for the night. We walk to our favorite hot dog stand.

Glad to see the end of this day

Quite Car

We got our aptment clean this morning. Got some wash done Grandpa mop the floor while I did the dish.
Big project today getting toy for the little kid to play with in nuserury. We went down to the market area. Looking for the toy shop. Found a hot dog Store werte had big bag of hot dog and hot dog bunm. Ham in slises and uncured Bacon. They were cutting up. We need some hot dog bun and got them.
We were off looking for the toy shop again. We tough time founding it then need a place to park. We went around a few block looking for a spot found one but Brent did not think I could get into it. We went around a few more block looking for a spot to park. I finial found another spot and back into it just find.

I has trouble getting the window roll up. Finial got the window rollup. Quick lock both door and we were off looking for toys. Found alot fun shops. I got my toy and Brent got his shoe shine. We head back to the car. We found the keys in the car with the light on. The spare key is back at our aptment. We went 6 block to get the bus for Wal-Mart walk five block to our aptment to get the key. Walk four block to another bus stop. Catch the bus back to the car. Got drop off at central which is a 10 block walk to our car Unlock the hot car to found out we left it running for three hour.

End of Saturday with very tire feet

Rain or Shine

It was cloud this morning when we went out to work. It is a little cold. We get out there on the farm about noon. The plumber came and we went to work getting pipe put in to place. We stop short we were missing a peice of pipe. He could not do any more with out it so he left. We got what we could done. It rain off and on all day. Not a lot but just enough to get really wet.

Fri We dress warm but it was hot. we took the car so we could stop by Arosecella after work. We were working on another line around the complex. The plumber show up and we got thing finish up. The bathroom is working...... Yippy

We left early. We were going to see the leader down in the area it didn't work out so we went home.

Goal done at the end of a day.

Eletricion

Monday work on the farm put more pipe in the ground. They got someone to cement the bottom part of the faucets so they will be left alone. The Elercion come out to bid the job and get a projection on what he will need for the job. He left. We went back to work. We got off early to get to family home evening at one family home.
We stop and got some cookie for the treat. Had some paper work to turn in at the office. We were and hour late getting out there a big no no O well we tried. When we got out there the lady had invite her neighbor that we gave a blessing to on sunday to family home evening. His brouther was vidsiting and come too. She give Brent the lessen from the family home evenung manual to give. One of her daughter gave the pray reluctonly. We sang some songs. We had some more song book but found out the other guest could not read. Brent gave the lessen. The boy gave the pray.
We decide to play the new paper game hopeing it would work. Everyone pick an animal. We started playing it and it was a little slow at first but before long they were laughing in tears. We all had a good time. Gave out our cookie and went home.

The old man wanted another blessing because he said it warm him all over his body. He felt so good after it and he wanted to feel that way again. Brent just daid one blessing per customer.

TUE the eletriction truck broke down and the person that gives us a ride out to the farm truck broke down. We figure the lord want us to go see unofficial leader at Arosecella. He did not have work because machiner or something. We got a list of the people who were attending church out there. The leader have been trying to discorage grow out there because they are out of the way. The people are faithful out there are are growing anyway. His list had three elder on it and other. They need to be a branch to get help with building and material. They had a building they been using for there meeting but someone talk them into going to Los muches for church and the little group fall apart. Now we are trying to pick up the pieces. The list we were give was old list from someone and who know how old it was. None of them were on the last list. The church has to be a branch you need two family and a presthood holder which they have. We just need aprovial. It what this group needs so we turn in what we know. Now we wait for approveal.

The truck was still broke down but they got another so we had a ride out. Turn in some thing from the house old box and pick up a cabinet for the house. I found some curtains. We were late for the farm but got some more work done.

End the Days The Church growing without help but from God.

Brent a talker

We went to pay the rent to the landlord. We left at 8:30. They ask in and to seat down. Brent sarted talking. I put the rent money on the table. He talk about every thing under the sun. Waiting for the receipt. No receipt so Brent keep talking, talking and waiting. There boy come in from work looking for something to eat and we waited. The boy ask me if I wonted water and I said no. He wrote it in Engish poor hungry kid. Brent gave them the Josph Smith story while waiting for the receipt. He keep talking. I didn't know if I should say something but I wonder how long Grandpa would talk. I almost fall a sleep. I finial stund up. I don't know what Brent said to the family. The father pull out the recept and give it to me. I wonder if they were waiting for us to show sign of leave to give us the receipt and we were kind of waiting for the receipt. We got home at 11:30. I thinking of sent Brent by himself but I know I can't. I have to ask anyone of there kids.

Hiolday it President day

The President of Mexico got put into office today. They put in a new president every six year. Dad said we get a president every five year. I told him no it more offen then that like every two or three year. We need to know this little detail . Brenda your the teacher or Lillian which is it.

We did not go to the farm because it would cost double for the plumber & eletriction. It time for the wiring and last little bit of plumbing. Monday.

We went out to Arosella to talk to the active elder out there. He said that most of the people out there are working in the planting right now seven day a week. We going back out tonight to meet some of the people out there.

Hope you like the picture of our casa I sood in the dinning room to get as much as I could of the kitchen stove. Room are little small but it big enough for us.

  it got the computer in this room. I know you plan on visiting so will so about a bed but we just found one newer motal for 130 paco for a night about $13 for the night. It just little far away for walking not biking so I keep looking.

We got another bathroom. No showder curton or rod and the toilet right there anyway you can almost shower and seat on the toilet at the same time but it would be little hard as the showder head faced the wrong way.

  BUT it really a down three step toilet and sink. They had to go down three step to have head room and room for everything there under the stair. This is one of though thing you dream about and say there no way you could have a bathroom like that in Americia or any place. I dream about it and here it is strange.
