Deal or No Big Deal
A mission give you a chance to think about your life. Yesterday I was busy putting the drain field together with the pipe and gravel. One of the workers was running the back hoe as I was putting the system together and used my knife to cut the cloth that separated the dirt from the gravel. My wife called and needed me for a minuet when I return my knife it was missing from my holster. the back hoe had moved aloft of dirt and I thought that there is no way that I would find the knife. We looked and dug for a while and could not find it so that night I prayed for some help from hose who are looking out for us to help me. The next day before we when out on another job I ran out to look for it quickly before we left. My wife called and said come on we don't have all day.
So I started walking back slowly to the car and there it was with dirt clods all around it. I grab it and held it up high and said, Hey Connie look what I found. As we sat down in the car my eyes filled up with gratitude and again I felt peace in my heart for the help I had received to find it. It may not be a big deal for most people but for me losing something is a big deal. When I was younger my Dad would get very angry with me when I would lose something. As I thought back through my life every time I needed to find something, I was able to kneel down and say a prayer and I was alway able to find what I had lost

It is by small miracles that great things come to pass.

Hey! Glad you found your knife and that things are going well. Aidan is not 8, he is 7. He's not in an LDS cub scout pack because we don't have one so he gets to start at 7. LDS packs don't usually have tigers, they start with wolf. Don't worry, we'll be sure to let you know when Aidan's b-day is close so you can come to the baptism.
