A little push go a long way

Well its getting towards the end of the month. We just got started on a new house on little chief road. The house needs to be painted inside and out. Some of the wood needs to be replaced that's my job with some sheet rock work inside. Connie of course will be doing all the painting inside and luckily we brought along the paint sprayer for the outside. Anyway there is plenty of work to do.
Also it is getting closer to the end of the month and funds are getting low. The battery died on the suburban and it cost $115 to replace and with a little groceries money left we had about 23 dollar between us. The circus was coming to town so we thought we would save it to see the show. But when we got there it was 24 dollar for two tickets. We was thinking that it might be maybe 16 dollar so we came home a little disappointed. The next day we headed out early to work and got allot done. It was about 6:30 and the sun was setting and I had to drag Connie off of the job cause she wanted to finish the room she was in. Anyway as we were driving home we stop to look at a great sun set and thought about pick up some post card for the grand kids They did not have any so we headed home. On the way out some people was trying to load a car onto a trailer and it looked like they was having trouble. I told Connie to go back so we could help them. I first offered to pull it on with our truck, but they was trying to pull it up with a come along and was about 6 inches short. So I went behind the car started lifting and pushing the car on the trailer. At first it would not move and the the husband told his wife to release (THE HOUNDS) I mean the parking brake. The car start moving. It stop for a moment and the husband told her to turn the wheel away we went. The trailer dropped and they hook up the car. I said good bye and the one guy said hey all we needed was a little more horse power and I laughed. We went on to leave. The lady said thanks and wait let me pay you. I said no thanks. we stared to leave. But her husband stop us and gave me 20 dollar. I told him no but he insisted. so I said thanks. We were leaving again the lady came around the car and offered me another 20 dollar. I told her that her husband already gave me the money and thanked her. We now had 20 bucks. I thought we would stop by the store to get some need items. The one thing Connie need the most some flowers, of course she protested but I insisted this is as important for me to show you that I care and you need these flower and that all I got to say about that. they even came in a little painted bucket she can use it on the job Ha Ha til next time Love Brent
